Seriously Slacking... Big Update

Wow, I know things have just been nuts! But it's okay because I'm going to do better, hopefully :)   Okay so I was going to break these up but how about a nice big long catch-up post.  So what has been up lately?

First up: Scrapbooking, scrapbooking and more scrapbooking.  Seriously I'm so sick of it.  I've got Meagan's up to September and I'm up to fall of 2010, and I'm fairly confident that I'm just going to stop once I finish that year.  I'm glad that I re-did my past books but wow, I want my kitchen table back.  So the trip book and 2011 will just have to wait until I feel up to it again. :P  Big fat :P

Second, my new job.  I don't know if I've mentioned this yet, but I got a new job back in September and I'm blaming it for my reason for not blogging.  See it's full time again (which sucks!)  I didn't realize how much I got done in those extra 2 hours!  So my house is just ridiculous, I don't think it'll ever be clean again.  I truly feel for working mothers, it's awful, I don't think I can do it much longer.  On the positive side, my new job is great... closer to home (awesome!!), good company, great co-workers, more money, what's not to like?  I went from a 70 mile commute each day to a 14.  Boo - Freaking - Yeah!!  What we are paying in daycare, is what I'm saving in gas.  Yeah I know, ridiculous.  This month we've only spent $180 on gas,  can you believe that? Before it was a good month if we were under $400.

Third, weight loss.  I've lost 35 lbs... YAY.  That makes 62 lbs since the day I had Meagan.  I haven't been this size/weight since my senior year of high school (which was my thinnest time)  Now I'm not trying to brag, but I have been working my butt (no pun intended) off since February (minus a little relapse in early summer) to lose that weight, and it's working, I had to make it do-able.  No crazy fasting or changes of eating.  I still eat everything like I did before, just not as much :) and exercise.  I started doing insanity, which is great, but it started messing with my body, so I've cut back on that.   Now just to stay thin through the holidays...

Fourth, Meagan.  The person that you all read my blog for.
Talk about the happiest kid in the world!  She has completely changed and is the goofiest little girl I've ever seen.  She is such a little show off for people and now that she waves, she is always trying to get everyone's attention to wave to them.  She walks along furniture and I've seen her stand by herself, but she's pretty chicken and has no interest in walking.  Just sucking on everything.  She is so independent and HATES help with anything.  She can throw a tantrum like it's nobody's business.  But it's usually short lived.  She is so funny and we spend most of the time just laughing at her.

Kameron put this bucket on her head, and she could care less. She left it on for about a 1/2 hour.

Happy happy Meagan
Her favorite game: to empty the toy basket
She still loves jumping, and will stand by the couch and jump and jump.

Goofy Girl!
Yep, we are teaching her bad habits already, she loves the stuff and will make a B-Line to the can every time she sees one.  Don't worry we never give them to her full. I'm not that stupid
She loves playing with the curtains on the sliding glass door, and looking outside.  When she was a little younger and was starting to crawl, she would constantly crawl into the glass, it was pretty hilarious.  Now she just stands by it and yells.  She yells a lot, and has to be the loudest thing in the room, if you turn on the vacuum or close the garage door, she'll yell until it's over.  Speaking of vacuums, she loves it.  And spends the whole time trying to climb on it.
She was in a really messy phase and was always spitting/puking/dumping whatever on herself, so she spent a lot of time naked, because it was easier :)
She is always so helpful when I try to change her sheets.

Fifth, we just booked a trip to New York City in the springtime, and I am beyond excited about it. I've always really wanted to go there.  YAY, vacation!!

And Sixth, which should have been first because it is the best news in the whole wide world.  Welcome to my dog's new home, the corner of the family room.
Yep, they are contained to this one area of the house.  And it is awesome, my house is so much cleaner without always having to vacuum and worrying about Meagan putting, I don't even want to know what in her mouth.  So YAY!
