Philly-Delphia

Well we finally went on our big trip to New York City and Philadelphia. It seems like we planned and booked this trip so long ago, so it was weird for it to finally be here.  We started off in Philly and then took a train up to New York.  Now me, being extremely naive, thought oh it's the end of April the weather should be really nice and seeing as how we had weirdo July weather I was under the impression that the weather would be nice.  Which it wasn't rainy or windy which was good, just REALLY cold in Philadelphia, and me being my awesome self packed away my jacket in our luggage that was checked in at the train station.  So I bought an awesome philly sweatshirt so I wouldn't freeze.  It was the only store we saw and of course it was a tourist store.  And then as soon as we walked up the main Market Street we came across a major mall with any store you could want.... lame.
We started off by going to the Terminal Reading Marketplace.  It is a food/craft market and was awesome, so many food choices, restaurants and produce/meat stands.  I would go here every day if we lived here.  Although the fruit smoothies we bought really sucked, but the black and white cookies were awesome!  And we even got to see some Amish people :)
Kameron in front of Independence Hall.  This is one of the few things that you can tour in the main square.  And I'm sad to say this but I learned so much visiting Independence Hall, I guess I didn't pay much attention in history class, because I learned a lot, haha.  The historic buildings in Philadelphia are old, and are very simple but still cool in the fact that they are some of the oldest buildings in the US.  It was crazy how long the line was for the Liberty bell, but we waited anyway, it was interesting to learn why it was cracked I never knew.  I always assumed it was because they rang it too hard or something, LOL.
This is the assembly room.
I was glad they allowed cameras inside, this is the main court room.
I noticed that we took a lot of pictures of just me, I'm not sure why we both had cameras... oh well.  Here I am in the Independence hall courtyard.

And again on the other side of the courtyard.
This picture doesn't do this building justice.  It was really cool in person.  It is the Second National bank of America.
Side view of Independence Hall.  Below are a few pictures of some cool buildings we found just walking around.
This building was sooo narrow in reality.

See it was really cold, it was only 4 degrees, haha!
Okay so isn't the LOVE sculpture supposed to be a cool site to see in Philadelphia?  It is so much smaller than I thought it would be.  Glad we schlepped it all of the way up to LOVE park to see it, haha.  At least we got to see some random band playing with a bunch of people around smoking questionable items... hmmm.
This is the new City Hall, it was a really huge and cool building.
Another view.
While walking around we came across this area that was filled with giant sized random game pieces.  It was pretty funny, they had game pieces from sorry, bingo, checkers, and from monopoly like the wheelbarrow and the iron.  It was a pretty funny place, I tried to get Kameron to sit on one of them but he wouldn't go for it.
