Can you believe it is already August? I mean I was just getting used to it being June and then I’m not sure what the heck happened to July, seriously I'm trying to remember what happened. At this rate the next few months are going to fly by! Which is good for me :)
Life has been super busy and crazy. I have so many things going on, it seems, and tons to get done. Unfortunately some things might have to wait until later (I swear on my mother that I will finally can blackberry jam next year, but until then... sigh). I know it is only the beginning of August but my month is already booked solid, and some of September as well. It’s going to be very tiring but so worth it, I need to focus on the big picture here. It's getting almost time to start counting down to LO's arrival and I am still so unprepared, I don't have any baby basics, I have no clothes smaller than 9 months, the nursery is still a giant storage room, and I have made nothing because my mother is the stake camp director, and I have been patiently (or unpatiently... maybe) waiting for this blasted camp to get over, so Mom and I can start on the fun baby-stuff making. Because let's face it I'm terrible at sewing and need her there to make sure things get sewn and cut straight. Luckily camp starts on Monday so maybe Friday we'll be shopping for fabric, just kidding Mom, I give you until Saturday :) But at least one big thing that is happening is… are you ready for this?
I’m FINALLY getting my new kitchen!!!!
Yay, I am so super excited about this, as if you can’t tell. Kameron started tearing down walls the move the pantry a couple days ago and this weekend, the really fun demolition begins; tearing up the cabinets and the entire floor in the main area. Our kitchen is just plain awful and small and awful, and I am sooo looking forward to getting a new and improved bigger better kitchen. BOO YEAH! (That’s right I just said boo yeah, now you might be starting to understand my excitement) I have been waiting for this since the day, maybe even the second, we moved into our house. And it is the only thing that we really need to get done before the baby comes. So to sum up I’m super stoked about it (**Doing a happy dance**)
Goodbye you awful, awful kitchen.
