24 Weeks

I have a problem.  I like to eat.  I like to eat lots.  Unfortunately this problem leads to some serious weight gain, especially while pregnant, when weight gain is inevitable anyway.  See I gained a lot a while back, then I cut back on what I was eating, not drastically, but enough that I only gained 3 pounds between visits.  But then I started eating again, whatever I wanted of how much I wanted and now I've gained 10 lbs again between visits.  That brings my total up to 25 lbs so far.  Ugh!  I am in such big trouble.  I guess it's time to cut back again. But things overall are going pretty good, I'm not sure what happened this week but I've grown so much in just the last 5 days or so, it's crazy.  I feel huge and everyone always tells me how big I'm getting.  And most the time not in a good way.  The next person to say "Wow look at you" is going to get smacked.  For real.  I've been having a lot more pressure and pain this time around, or at least it's started a heck of a lot earlier this time.  And the doctor just says there isn't much I can do about it.  It's just an awesome side effect of pregnancy.... yay.  But little un-named baby girl moves all of time, reminding me she's around.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE feeling the baby move.  It makes you forget about all of the other weird pregnancy symptoms.  It's awesome!  Especially when she's doing some crazy acrobatics.  She especially loves to kick Meagan while she is sitting on my lap (which she does quite often lately, I like it :)  It's only fair because Meagan is constantly trying to sit up on top of my stomach, elbows it, kicks it... whenever she gets the chance.  I keep waiting for the second trimester un-tired feeling to come, but I think with  chasing around Meagan everyday and being pregnant.  That tired feeling if just here to stay.  My back is killing me again, but it did with Meagan too, so I expected that, but it still isn't pleasant.  I have an ultrasound scheduled in a few weeks to check my placenta to make sure it isn't still too low.   I really hope it moves up, if I have to have a c-section and be on bed rest I'm going to be pretty dang ticked.  So fingers crossed that it moves.  Until then I'll just take it easy... Yeah, because that's easy when you have a toddler :)
